Laundry
There are four washing machines and two dryers in Korallen. They are located in two rooms between kitchen 2C and 3C and the elevator.
You will use the small grey chip which you received with your keys to enter the laundry room and to start the machines.
Using the machines
The washing machines in Korallen have a selection of programmes, which you can choose from. The machine has an automatic dosage of laundry detergent, while you can choose neutral-scented fabric softener for free. The laundry machine opens with a selection between 30°, 40° and 60° – but further programs can be chosen. It is not allowed to use the washing machine to color fabrics. It typically takes about 40 minutes to an hour for a cycle to finish.
The dryer also has a selection of programmes, both time-based, and programs based on the dryness of your clothes. It is important to empty the filter after using the dryer, as the fluff can catch on fire or cause the dryer to become defect.
When you are done washing your clothes, please pick up your clothes as fast as possible, so others also can use the machines.
Prices:
- Price for regular washing: DKK 15 pr. cycle.
- Price for dryer: DKK 0,60 pr. minute.
The bill for laundry will be added to your rent the following month.
